Getting it done with Helper Monkeys
Eli points out over at his blog that you can get yourself your very own helper monkey, and the video of little Gizmo is very funny moving funny.
But, could Gizmo display the sort of mad Broomball skills needed to advance to the finals! I don’t know if “Gizmo Boards” is even in the little guys vocabulary.
Luckily the Broomball team I was the past organizer of, the Helper Monkeys do have what it takes and since Shelley and I are out here in Minnesota, we got to take part in the action. The semi-final was decided by a 4-on-4 Three min period played without goalies. The period ended with one lone point, and the Monkeys moved to the finals.
Congratulations to the Helper Monkeys on thier hard work, and good luck in the finals. Now this monkey just has to find a team in Toronto.

Nice! I don’t see any Helper Monkey logos on those jerseys - although, that might just be too politically incorrect!

Actually, it had been discussed every year, we just couldn’t get anyone to sit down and actually scribble one out. I tried putting something together once, but I’m no illustrator and it looked kind of pathetic.
Then there was the part about being too cheap to pay for the screening.
