AJAX user attention testing tool.

I just read a write up for a new service called Crazy Egg over at Mashable that simply blew my mind.

Crazy Egg lets you track a users mouse movements and clicks and then overlay the information as a “heat map” indicating exactly the areas of the screen the users attention was focused. I suppose there are tools that do this already, at least I assume there must be, but this is the first I ever seen.

Could this be the dawning of the agile era for UX on the web?

    Hi,

Thanks for the Crazy Egg mention, we’d love for you to help us test it out. If you’d like, email us at info at crazyegg.com

Regarding the agile era for UX on the web, we have a lot of plans and ideas for where we are going next with crazy egg and it is entirely possible that we will address the needs of the UX crowd. Our main goal is to first launch a perfect product that everybody loves and can use. After that, we will have to see.

Thanks again for the comments, if you have any questions, feedback, or would like to test the application feel free to e-mail us at info@crazyegg.com.
