Which reminded me of the classic Detroit Zoo ad that aired back in the 80’s.

As one might have gleamed from my write up of DemoCamp 3.0, I was half suspecting that the monthly “uncampference” would take a serious leap over the shark. I’m happy to say I don’t think it has, although it’s certainly not out of the lake (lake sharks?) yet.
I think one change that significantly impacted my […]
I knew there was some, unforeseeable at the time, reason I moved to Toronto… and last night that reason revealed itself in the form of Lay’s new “Spicy Curry” flavored potato chips.
Several years ago I had the good fortune to happen upon a similar treat while on a junk food binge in London. Unfortunately, despite […]
I Just got back from a fantastic evening with Shel Israel, the co-author of Naked Conversations.
Shel’s speaking at the “Social Marketing” event being put on by AIMS Canada tomorrow today and Alec Saunders was good enough to organize the get together. It was an overwhelming success, with nearly 70 participants gathered to talk shop and […]

However when I saw that the story was getting international attention, I figured I was wrong about the whole thing. Spacing wire picked up […]
Tonight is the opening night of an art exhibit set to to “re-imagine the TTC”. The idea is to take away the ads and let the artists use what remains as a blank slate for their imaginations. While in the real world I don’t see the ads going anywhere, I appreciate the energy being spent […]
I thought I was the only one who spent my time on the subway platform positioning myself for maximum efficiency at the next stop. Little did I know there is even a portable map of each TTC station . So now even when […]
